I have been working in the screen printing industry since 1968, including twelve years of teaching screen printing techniques. For almost 18 years, I have been general editor of a Dutch screen printing magazine. Since 2004 I am the secretary of ‘Het Zeefdruk Instituut’, a non-profit organisation for the purpose of the (Dutch speaking) screen printing industry, of which I’m one of the founders. Apart from the literally hundreds of articles on screen printing techniques and the sector, I’ve written several textbooks. Last year I translated Fespa’s e-learning screen printing course into Dutch.

In 2004 I wrote ‘Anything Goes at the Screen printer’s’ (Alles Kan bij de zeefdrukker), a book aimed at the layman and a marketing tool for the screen printing industry. With this book, the screen printer explains (to business relations) his/her technique and the products he/she makes. A clear text (over 12.000 words), interlarded with more than one hundred colourful photos (below you’ll find some of the photographs used in this book). Unfortunately, this paperback is only available in Dutch at the moment. (I’m looking for a party willing to help publish it in English, German, French and/or Spanish.)
